I was up early and I do miss my early morning walks. Instead I sat on the terrace looking at the beautiful view down to the sea and across to Turkey.
I went to Atakara to buy some fresh bread and Cyprus Today. I love the olive bread but I have to say, they seem to have shrunk along with when the price went up to 3tl each! Rather typical of here.
Later Lena rang me to ask if I was getting any water. To be honest I hadn’t noticed but when I went to the tank, realised that no we haven’t been getting any. Willy is going to investigate as it has been off for a couple of days. Perhaps they should harness some of the water that is pouring down in the ravine! Not another summer without water after all that rain!
