We woke up to rain and also the sites electricty was going to be switched off from 8 until 4pm as they have major works to carry out. A good thing we have some gas in the caravan.
So, we spent the day clearing things out and throwing them away. What a good feeling that was! Up until now I have never been here long enough to have a good clear out and when I was here we were always out and about visiting. Mal managed to lose the key and we haven’t even moved in yet! He was almost convinced he had thrown it away with the rubbish but finally he found it.
The site workman was fitting all the necessary so we can have a washing machine in the new caravan, that was quick!
By the evening our electricity still hadn’t returned and there were some angry people up at the office, but it wasn’t their fault, it was the Electricity Board. It came back on just in time to turn the electric blanket on! A bit like Cyprus really! I guess we are a bit more used to it than most here.
