A rainy day but I managed to get out for a dry walk. Mal had loads to do on the internet.
When I heard the news of the hit and run driver in Cardiff, my stomach did somersaults but they are all safe at home. They live in Canton, very near to where it all happened and Tariq was due to go to football practice and thankfully someone phoned Rhys asking if all the kids were home and so Tariq wasn’t alowed to go until he had been caught. How awful, those poor, poor people.
I had a phone call from Jane in the Dover Avis office personally apologising for the error on one of our car hire invoices. I thought that was exceptional customer service, well done Avis! I understood how the mistake was made and was more than grateful for her ringing.
My sister and bro in law should have been visiting us this weekend but sadly Bryan ended up in hospital again this week so now they can’t come. A good thing we visited last weekend.

Thought for the Day – “I’ve learned that maturity had more to do with what types of experiences you’ve had and what you’ve learned from them and less to do with how many birthdays you’ve celebrated.” ~ Paulo Coelho
