It was Christa and Robin’s last day in North Cyprus for a while. They are going to the UK to see Robin’s mum and also back to Germany for a while and so a few of us met up at the Silver Rocks for a meal in the evening.
I think I may have mentioned it before but Robin and I went to the same school (Cavendish in Hemel Hempstead)and last Saturday they had a 50 year reunion for our year group. We had both been sent the photos of people who attended and had to admit there were very few people between us that we recognised, how the years change people!
We had a nice meal and Trix and Sally were there too. Sally’s husband Ian joined us later as he had been teaching badminton during the evening.
