Mal started digging out a small hedge in one of our gardens. It was serving no purpose whatsoever and had become slightly diseased. It was in the garden which we paid a ‘professional’ gardener to design for us. Never again, I think we have replaced everything they planted! I say Mal dug it out, the roots were something else in this heat but at least now we have more room for herbs.
We had a BBQ in the evening and very delicious it was too.
