Thursday 13th October 2011

It rained overnight and so Mal and I went out and did some weeding. Up until now the ground has been so hard. At least the rain has made it a tiny bit easier.

I have to admit, I am hooked on finding all the bargains! In fact I half wish I were living in the UK with all the bargain breaks away and meals out see link. I am now wondering just how many we can fit in when we do go back for visits. We have one booked and I have my eye on another.

I also ordered a few more Christmas presents, at last the list is getting shorter.  10 grandchildren (and the rest of the family) is a major list. Just as well it is only once a year.

Torin flew back from working in Poland and I am proud to say his first flight for 8 years without taking tablets. Eight years ago he fell at work from a great height and landed on his head, so I can understand how he must have felt about flying. He has worked so hard since the accident to ‘get back to normal’. Well done Torin!
