The day Torin leaves. That is the main problem with living so far away from family, it’s lovely to have them visit but very sad when they leave and will be a couple of months until you see them again.
He was going to Larnaca to spend the last couple of days on the island with Maddie and her children as they rented an appartment there.
I know Torin enjoyed his stay with us because he kept saying so. He needed the down time as he had not been well and had also lost 2 stone. He reckoned that he had put on a stone while he was staying here. Well, that is what mums do isn’t it? He had a cooked breakfast every morning by the pool followed by a big lunch and dinner and crisps in between. He certainly found his appetite from somewhere and he was eating even faster than Mal and that is saying something! I think they were in competition and Mal enjoying every minute of having things we don’t normally eat (fried breakfasts etc!)
Ozy came and collected Torin on time and took him to the address in Larnaca which was probably more difficult to find and no extra charge.see link Following Robin’s accident on his journey from Larnaca airport in a taxi, it was refreshing to discover that there are some careful taxi drivers here. I complain when we get bad service so credit where it is due.
It all seemed very quiet after he had gone. Still, at least he has recharged his batteries and filled his stomach.
