Shopping in the morning at Ileli. It is only supermarket I have found that actually treats you like a customer! Cyprus Today, more doom and gloom see link. I am not so sure about the article ‘Call for volunteers to join environment force’ , I am hoping it is not just expats.
I met Sue at lunchtime at Nosheens. I haven’t seen Sue for a few months and so it was nice to have a catch up. We had a long lunch and even at their 16tl price for lunch, we were the only two in the restaurant for the whole of their lunchtime. A sign of the times. Most restaurants here seem to think if they have very few customers, then put the prices up. When will they fall in that if they deliver good food, good service at a reasonable price then more people will eat out? Of course the other factor is, bad service or food and they won’t be going back. Simple!
Another day of sun.
Mal has been playing with his photo manager and special effects (obviously bored now most of the work is complete in the UK!) He sent me the picture of Scarlet.
Thought for the Day – “Stop looking at what’s wrong, and instead start looking at what’s right about yourself, others, or any situation in general. Nothing or nobody will ever be perfect, so why not just enjoy it to the fullest? Life is too short and time flies. Make an effort to see the beauty in everything before it’s too late.” – Nubia J.
