Following my broken glasses saga of yesterday, Mal and I went to Girne so that I could get some new ones. Canada Optic had a 50% sale, or so it said on their window, having looked at their glasses inside, I don’t think so!! We moved on to Akay Optic (next to Deniz Plaza). A very helpful lady in there and much more reasonable prices. I chose some and she said she would ring me when they were ready.
We ‘just popped’ into Mr Pound and as usual came out with a full bag of goodies!
5.00pm, the optician called to say that my glasses were ready, how quick is that?
