River’s challenge during the holiday was to write about the Cyprus Problem. Mal tried to put him off the idea but he said he wanted to do it. He has done all the research and each time he asked grandad for his opinion, Grandad told him he would have to look it up from both the Turkish Cypriot side and the Greek Cypriot side as he should write an unbiased, un influenced report. Yes, it has taken him ages and as with all challenges, yes, he got paid for it but I hope he enjoyed doing it. Bless him, I think he has done well, not an easy subject when there are such differing views. see link
Well, the boys last day, the month seems to have flown by. Last day and pay out day for them……..I think we are broke now! They made the most of the pool and Tariq also came shopping with me to get supplies for Grandad whilst I take them back to Cardiff. Poor Rhys has to come all the way to Stansted from Cardiff because of Atlas jet not flying to Heathrow now that CTA have gone. It will also be a very long day for us tomorrow.
