I think I will have to stop saying another lovely, warm, sunny day but it is!

We went to Carpenter’s market and bought some of Maureens’ delicious lemon curd.

Dawn and Neil are both over here for the Easter break so we called in on them for a cup of tea and a chat. Married life is definitely agreeing with them! It was really nice to see them as we have kept missing them on their previous visits.

We stopped at Ileli on the way back as they now seem the only supermarket who keep a stock of Cricova bubbly wine. We cleared their shelf!

In the evening we watched ‘Alice in Wonderland’.

I had noticed a lot of postings on Cyprus 44 bulletin board mentioning ‘Back in Time’. A good thing as it has brought this very good restaurant to the notice of a lot more people. They are doing an offer lunchtimes Monday-Friday, 2 meals for 15TL. Trish and Mike, the owners, are lovely people so Joan, Jeff, Mal and I went there for our lunch.  It was excellent as usual and Mike even brought us out an extra table without us asking. The restaurant looks out to the Mediterranean. Joan was planning on having a meat pie but it seems there had been a rush on them and they had sold out, which contradicts some of the posts on Cyprus 44 where there had been a single complaint about them.  Mal and Jeff had the quiche and Joan and I had chicken shish and REAL chips!

We had a lovely meal and good company. Thank you Joan and Jeff and of course Trish and Mike.
