Sandwich Festival continues. We decided to go for lunch at The Quay as it is such good food and Mal loves the beer…Timothy Taylor’s Landlord. They only had rhubarb gin, not rhubarb and ginger and so she suggested I try it with ginger ale…mmmm, different!
We then went down to the other end of the quay and they had already packed up the medieval encampment and the band had taken over. However the Medieval alcohol marquee was still there and Sarah constantly reminds me of when Pauline and I got very merry on mead a few years back!
The band was very good so we stayed there until early evening. I can’t say Ellie enjoyed the noise too much!
