I took some flowers round to Torin’s grave and then we headed for a break in Essex. The journey was horrendous with torrential rain at times, flooding, accidents and queues of traffic. I think it is easier to get to the Isle of Wight!
We stopped and had some lunch at Shenfield, a nice pub, The Rose.
I say lunch but it was 3pm when we arrived there because of all the delays. We then carried on in more traffic jams and arrived at Weeley Bridge, a lovely site with a large lake in the middle. We had a nice caravan as well, spotlessly clean, I always bring my dettol spray just in case!
We didn’t bother even thinking about going out in the evening, I had driven enough!
