We took Ellie to Kearsney Abbey. She walks through the woods and then runs for the stream!
We then sat outside the cafe with a coffee. The swans were becoming a nuisance as they came up to the tables and started drinking the dogs water.
Another afternoon of tennis.
In the evening we met Violet and Tris. They had given us a voucher for Sargasso in Margate, an Italian restaurant. We have had it since Christmas but because of problems with my teeth we kept putting off using it. We sat outside on the harbour arm even though they thought we were mad because of the wind! They did bring blankets out for us. We like eating outside. It has a very unusual menu and is expensive. However they had skate schnitzel on the menu which is what I had. Mussels with crisps was a little odd for starters! No vegetables either, just thinly sliced cucumber with capers! An experience. This is obviously the food DFL’s enjoy!!
