An easy day as my leg pain came back last night and I couldn’t put any weight on one leg so pain killers and rest it.
Mal did all the dog walking, cooking etc. We seemed to have got hooked on the horse racing, especially the free £50k bet! No, we didn’t win it, nor did Rhys. BUT having made small bets, we were £3.80 up by the end of the day…last of the big spenders.
We caught up with the first of Gardener’s World. Our potatoes are already in and the broad beans and of course we have masses of Rhubarb on its way. Our ground is far warmer than where Monty is at Longmeadow, so we are a bit ahead of him.
