We went to Wickhambreaux for a change as it was really nice weather. We often walked here when we lived in Preston. Ellie was just like a puppy running in and out of the water. We have seen an improvement with her movement now we are giving her “senior” dog food.
It is so quiet down by the river and we didn’t see a soul! We just sat by the river edge. It was so peaceful. There were so many dragon flies down there, such a lovely colour blue.
I think we chose the best part of the day to walk, as it rained in the afternoon, so we sat in the conservatory.
My Blue Moon rose has flowered. I have had it three years and this is the first and looks like the only bloom and it doesn’t look very blue to me! Mal said it is obviously named because it only flowers once in a blue moon!
It was under threat of being dug up if it didn’t flower this summer!
We watched Thursday nights Springwatch, so we have one left! I will be sad that it is going to finish.
