What a surprise this morning, the Easter Bunny left this on our front door step!!
How lovely and thoughtful from Lou, Rhys and the kiddlies! Josie was in the back of the car..painful that I couldn’t give anyone a hug. Ollie had even made a cake for us!
I was up early as I had a leg of lamb and wanted to slow roast it. Such a waste when it is only Mal and I and not the rest of the family to share it with us!
Lamb in the oven and we went for our daily exercise/dog walk.
We went for our walk along the river.
Back home and Wingham Wildlife Park had a tour of their park with interaction on Facebook. It was excellent as Lou and the littlies joined in and Sol as well. Of course they are looking for donations and they really deserved it. Of course the park is shut at the moment so no income from visitors.
Our lunch was lovely. This was followed by hot cross bun pudding! I think the diet starts on Tuesday!
We then had a video whatsapp with Lou, Rhys and all of them. The kiddlies have been playing in the pool and having fun.
Later we had a video link with Tris and Violet as it was Violet’s birthday. Sadly our presents and Easter egg had not yet arrived. I think the postal service is struggling. They are both in London and reported that there were a lot of mounted police around.
