Margate is evidently a dog friendly place in the winter! Dreamland have opened their Winter Wonderland and dogs are allowed in. I think that is a first. Of course it would have been much better going in the evening when all the lights would be showing up more but we went along in the afternoon. There were supposed to be a lot of stalls there. In fact there were very few apart from the usual food outlets and the ones there were, were very expensive. The food, well a bag of chips for £3.60, it certainly won’t be the locals eating there, only the hipsters. We weren’t very impressed and it seems we weren’t the only ones.
We walked around and then took Ellie onto the main sands where she is now allowed (after 30th September).
Back home to watch Spurs….result!
Later we watched the Joshua fight. Certainly not what I call boxing. My dad used to be on the committee for Markyate boxing club and we sometimes went to watch the fights.
