We always walk through the cemetery when we take Ellie out and it was nice to see this morning that they have been round pruning all the rose bushes. I planted one next to Torin’s head stone and obviously part of the payment we make is to tend to the rose bushes as well as keeping everything else neat and tidy. I was going to do it but now I don’t have to. Later we planted another rose on the other side, seeing as no one seems to mind. This is the new one.
I like the old fashioned roses and they have to be “very fragrant” or they don’t seem worth the bother! I love to smell the garden! The other one I planted has had so many flowers on it during the summer.
We went into Deal and I ordered some new trainers and they are going to deliver them. They are Clarks which I had already bought but they had a fault. I have to say the Manager was so lovely and nothing was too much trouble. A good way to get your customers coming back . Customer service seems very rare nowadays.
We then watched Tsitsipas beat Federer in the tennis.
