Sandwich were holding “Le Weekend”, so Lou came over with Ollie, Oscar and Josie.
There was a lot going on, a French market, re enactments and lot of food stalls and French performers singing and dancing. In fact we stayed all day, had Paella for lunch from one of the trade stands (didn’t think that was French?!) We sat by the main stage for most of the afternoon and there really was some talent performing.
Late afternoon Jemma and Dom joined us.
When the performances finished we came home and had a snack. Lou went home with the kiddlies, they had a very full day! Ellie had too with so many people stopping to make a fuss of her!
We then went to the Kings Arms for a drink with Jem and Dom. Another pub crossed off our list! We have to try them all in Sandwich. The Crispin is definitely our favourite.
