We took Ellie out and how nice to see the first of the Spring lambs.
In the next field, not so exciting. One of the horses had knocked down the wire fence and caught three hooves in the gaps in the fence. Goodness knows how long he had been stuck there. We managed to get his back hoof out of the tangle which made him want to go forwards rather than back. What a job we had and finally freed him and tried to put the fence back up with a temporary piece of wood to hopefully hold the fence. We have no idea whose horses they are but a guy walked past and said his wife might know. Whoever it is I hope they fix the fence. Poor horse.
It was such a nice day and so time to go to Howletts. It was a good day to go as most of the animals were out sunning themselves.
