Unusually the weather was really good….for a Bank Holiday weekend. So we were up early and down to Minnis Bay with Ellie. Lots of other dog walkers with the same idea which is fun for Ellie playing with all the other dogs.
Everyone stops to chat at Minnis which means walks take far longer than you planned but it must be so nice for a lot of the older lonely folk. By the time we left masses of cars had arrived and everyone was scrambling for the beach.
With the BBQ on Tuesday in mind I noticed someone in Whitstable was selling a garden table and 6 matching chairs. I was the first person to contact them and so we drove over to collect it. What a lovely couple and with their help, goodness knows how, we managed to get the whole lot in my car. OK the boot was tied and not shut properly and I also had to drive carefully so as not to smash the glass table top. But we managed!
We then watched Spurs, I even thought they would win but no, they seem to have lost their defence.
