We took Ellie to Minnis Bay as we haven’t been to the sea for a while because of the toxic palm oil. We believe it has all gone now but every time Ellie stopped we shouted “leave it” just in case. She was good and wasn’t even particularly interested in the huge jellyfish that were scattered all over the beach. Her ball and running in and out of the water were far more important.
Apart from the jellyfish, so many shells on the beach.
In the afternoon I went to Westwood. Last time I was there I bought Jack a hoody but couldn’t find a nice one for Scarlet and I can’t get one without the other. Well, I went everywhere and this new season they were yukky colours like ochre or salmon pink. In the end I found one in Next. If only I had gone in their first. Do they really think 7 year old girls like these appalling colours? Scarlet likes pink and purple, girley colours!
