We went into Girne in the morning and it was surprising how many people we bumped into that we knew and in the most surprising places! Into Mr Pound as well for our 15 minutes free parking. I was running out of tripe sticks which I always take over for Jekka and Loppi when we visit. Loppi, who was a very bedraggled, skinny, sick stray is now a credit to David and Kenny, who have looked after her along with all the vets bills and she has turned into a lovely dog. She has certainly landed on her feet there.
We thought about having our lunch out on the way back but we were both so hot decided it was far better to come home and jump in the pool!
Army helicopters were flying very low overhead in the afternoon and again in the evening for a long time. I guess they were out on training exercises.
