We woke up to rain but I understand storms are forecast for the next few days for North Cyprus which is a real shame as the KAR Walk is today. I am keeping my fingers crossed for them as Gwen has been busy making sausage rolls just for this occassion.
I have to laugh today, it seems Pollymarples (Pauline) has been banned on one of the North Cyprus forums Kibkom, it seems for being Pauline Read. Yes, she makes people aware of property issues in the TRNC but as she has said many times, so many are suffering from Head in the Sand Syndrome….just ignore it and it will go away. Well, it won’t!! Thousands are affected and Pauline seems one of a very small number of people prepared to stand up and tell the truth about what is going on…so she is banned….CRAZY!! I guess the “knock out darts competition”, “Carboot Sale” and “Christmas lights” are far more important issues than thousands losing their homes. Perhaps they should label it “Kibkom non important issues – Trivia only” . Don’t people realise the heartache many are going through losing their homes and life savings and many more to come….be warned those of you who don’t want to believe it!!
This is MY BLOG so no one can shut me up on here for telling the TRUTH about property issues in North Cyprus. I support Pauline for sticking her neck on the line, not just for herself but for the many thousands to come.
In the evening we spoke to all the family in Cardiff and then caught up on episodes of Monroe.
