I was quite horrified watching the news at the floods yesterday in the North of England. I couldn’t believe it when it was such a lovely hot day here.
Another lovely day and I spent all afternoon/evening watching the tennis. Federer lost his first two sets and I was beginning to think that he was going out of the competition too but no he won.
I was cooking a roast in the evening, had all the vegetables prepared and then discovered the gas had run out and Mal had forgotten to get a spare and the office was shut!! Thankfully the joint had cooked enough and so I had to do everything else in the microwave but no hot water for a shower until the morning! I forget how ‘brain dead’ he gets after working intensively for two months!
