Bargain – Do you fancy a trip to Edinburgh?
Mal and I went off to London. It was forecast to be hot but it was really OK for London! In the morning we went to the National Gallery. I was fascinated by a primary school teacher with obviously his class and they were all sat around a Hogarth painting – The Grandchildren. It was fascinating listening to the questions and answers from a bunch of 7 year olds. I guess they came from a prep school!
After our lunch we went to see Michael Ball and Imelda Staunton in Sweeney Todd at the Adelphi Theatre. This of course was the half price tickets we had bought. It was a good show. Afterwards we had a wander around the streets only to find we couldn’t walk up the Mall as they have shut it off, even for pedestrains, preparing for the Olympics, putting turnstiles in.
We went and had dinner and then came back to the caravan feeling shattered!
