We have been having a few days at Romney Marsh, staying at Marlie caravan park. They know us so well there. The beginning of our holiday was lovely weather but even so, we didn’t take Ellie on Greatstone Beach as its rating is now 1* Unsatisfactory and we didn’t want Ellie getting ill so we stuck to the countryside and Dungeness.
What are these water boards doing?!! It is such a lovely long beach there and now so few people use it.
We had our lunch at the Snack Shack at Dungeness, has to be our favourite, freshly caught fish, cooked and served to us. I had the lobster roll.
We also bought a dressed crab to have for the evening!
Dogs are now allowed in the clubhouse until 6pm, that’s an improvement.
As we like the area so much and it is not far to go, we decided to book another lodge for Spring. If you book it while you are there you get 15% off PLUS when Mal went to book it Tamzin said she wouldn’t charge for Ellie… a bonus and of course booking whilst you are still there, Ellie was given a Mr loopy!! It is supposed to be for the kids but they give Ellie one as well.
