Our butchers in Birchington now have their delicious turkey breast joints in, so we went to buy one to put in the freezer. I know they get them in for Christmas but this one will be gone long before that!  As we were that way, we took Ellie to Minnis Bay. It was lovely down there with all the school kids back at school and empty beaches!

I also heard that our brilliant manager Jack from Demelza has  now left , that was rather a shock! He is now working at Cancer Research in Birchington. I didn’t find this out until I was back home today or I could have called in to see him.

I watched a bit more of the “Investigating Diana”, heartbreaking.

I went shopping and to collect some shoes we had ordered on line while Mal walked Ellie. I also bought a couple of new hanging baskets as the summer ones are just going over.

In the afternoon we had a big furniture move, cleaning everywhere. I think we are getting old, we were worn out!
