Very dull again but we took Ellie to Westgate Bay for a swim.

I met up with Jackie at lunchtime, we went to the Dog and Duck at Plucks Gutter. A nice lunch and a lot of sorting out for Hatters.

Poor Jackie is really suffering with her ankle, she needs a new one but the NHS moves very slowly nowadays and she has been waiting years and in a lot of pain but somehow she always has a smile. Brave lady.

In the evening we watched the football, an England win 4-0.

We went to the park in Ramsgate. It was raining when we left home but no rain in Ramsgate.

Later we went to the allotment. Each year I tell Mal he doesn’t grow enough runner beans as I love them and we often eat them for lunch with a poached egg on top. I think this year, he has excelled, we have so many wigwams of them this year! Delicious.

I picked some of the sunflowers and took them round to Torin’s grave, they look lovely. There are still plenty left for the bees.
