Ellie slept all night, she was really good even at 3 in the morning when we had an enormous thunderstorm. We took her for a walk in the mountains, luckily before it started to rain again and then she was obviously starting to feel at home. She dragged her blanket out of her bed and tried to chew it, then the edge of our Persian rug and then my scrubbing brush. She is looking for mischief!
For some unknown reason we didn’t get an electricity bill for November. We checked and our neighbours did, just us that were left out. So, we decided to go into Kibtek with our meter reading and our last months bill.. We took Ellie with us to get her used to being different places. Well, walking down the road, the traffic and crowds of people freaked her out a little, so I went and sat in the little park with her while Mal went to pay the bill. Seeing as she was found sitting in the middle of a busy road, I am not surprised she has a traffic issue! Mal returned and Kibtek wouldn’t take the money, said we have to wait until next month and they will issue two bills. Sounds very suspect to me seeing as bills have just risen. But nothing else Mal could do. We met Kenny in the park, as he was just going shopping.
Mr Pound on the way back for new dog bowls, treats and toys!! All sorted for Ellie now. They have started emptying the Mr Pound on the way into Girne and are moving premises. I have a feeling it may have something to do with their car parking problem.
Now Ellie has been “frontlined” I can see the tics dropping off her, horrible things. I think she is going to be sooo spoilt! On the settee already, which Rosie was never allowed.
