The terms of the bailout in the south.

At least the haze of Libyan dust had lifted but left behind dust everywhere, so a day of cleaning windows and shutters while Mal weeded more around all the fruit trees.

It was such a lovely evening we had our dinner outside.  After that we caught up with the series “Broadchurch”.

I’m not really sure what the picture is, some sort of caterpillar trying to escape from his cocoon.

At last some good news from the TRNC Government!

Mal and I went for a walk first thing, I do miss having Rosie to go with us. We collected some more pine cones for summer BBQ’s and also bumped into some sheep and goats on the way back.

I spoke to Torin and Scarlet and Jack who thanked us for their Easter eggs. I asked Scarlet if she had eaten all her eggs. Her reply “Don’ be silly Nanny, if I did I would be sick.” That was me told.

It was a hot day but very hazy.It turns out that the haze over the island was a dust storm from Libya. I thought it was very weird weather, by about 4pm there was so much “dust” , the sun really looked like the moon.

I started preparing some of the internal walls ready for painting and then watched the Man U v Chelsea FA game. It wouldn’t have been so bad if we hadn’t had a power cut in the second half and then it came back on for two of the extra time minutes! Well done Chelsea, not sure what happened to Man U but Torin will be pleased.

It is being reported in the UK that it has been the coldest March in 51 years!
