My last day in Cardiff and then early in the morning, we have the long drive back to Stansted, thanks to CTA. I should have been flying from Heathrow.

It was a hectic day with Lou and Rhys trying to get orders done and delivered, as they were going to Lou’s dads for the weekend. Even Tariq was helping with the work!

No rain today, I did hear from Mal and it is hot and humid in Cyprus. Lou and I went to Tesco with the 7 children and she started the mammoth task of school uniform!

In the evening Tariq was playing football for Canton Rangers. I was so cold, I had to put my hood up because of the wind. Canton Rangers lost 4-1 but Tariq was man of the match.

It was nice weather for Cardiff!! We watched the Man U v Chelsea game in the afternoon. Of course Man U won. We then had a roast dinner and then a walk in the park.

Josie is now crawling and is so funny as she looks like a commando, dragging herself along on her arms.

We were up at 3.00am. A sad goodbye from the boys to Grandad.  On our Atlas Jet tickets it said to arrive 3 hours before the flight. We did and of course the check out wasn’t even open. When it was, we were first in the queue, handed over our passports and told we had a problem and to go to the Atlas jet office. Arriving there of course that had not yet opened. When it did I handed the girl the piece of paper I had been given.  The girl wrote something on it  and gave it back to me and I returned to check in, now to quite a long queue. I handed the piece of paper to the man and he then spent the next 15 minutes checking us in. From what I gather the boys were entered as students on their system and not children and their system would not allow any changes. Well, Atlasjet in Girne had re-issued tickets and the boys were actually with us! The plane journey was on time. Rhys was waiting for us at Stansted and then the long drive back to Cardiff. Painful, trafic jams all the way and rain. Of course we had originally booked for Heathrow with CTA.  Oh so many problems they have caused us.

We eventually arrived in Cardiff and Lou had made a birthday tea for Tariq and also he had another huge birthday cake and his presents.

A very long day!
