Bev and Gary came to visit. They brought our Christmas present and a lovely home made card. Kenny took Mal shopping to stock up as Mal had to fly back to the uk the following day for an exam meeting at Warwick Uni. He was hoping that it would be cancelled because of the bad weather in the UK. No such luck.

End of day 4 and I realise I have to be patient. I don’t think it helped leaving it for a week. I probably pulled it far more than if I had found a reliable doctor to go to. My worries were that on two previous occasions when Mal and I had both been told we needed operations when we didn’t and also a friend very recently being told she needed a hysterectomy and when she retuned to the UK for second opinion she was told no she didn’t!

End of day 3. Although I woke up at 3am again, for the first time I felt relief from the pain. The real test was Mal washing and conditioning my hair. A few days before it would have been agony to have my hair dried but the process was relatively pain free. I’m getting bored now.

End of day 2, much the same as before but with the addition of having an upset stomach from the drugs. Last night West Ham played Man Utd in the Carling Cup and Man Utd were hammered, 4-0! Mal was pleased.
