Went out for a meal at David and Kenny’s, our neighbours, and I shouldn’t have. After a few hours my shoulder was such agony I had to go home early. The food was delicious and I felt bad leaving early after Kenny had put so much effort into cooking the delicious curry while David entertained us.

I had a painful shoulder on Saturday and thought nothing of it, just expected it to go away, unfortunately it’s getting worse. This is the reason the diary hasn’t been updated for nearly a week. I’m down to typing with one finger and so I’ve let Mal write these entries for me. He’s a wonderful man, much like a Greek god in so many ways…

The hunters stayed well away today apparently because our neighbours, Willy and Lena, had informed the police about being showered in pellets. Mind you, after Bayram, perhaps they ran out of money to buy cartridges.

I went to buy Cyprus Today and quite honestly wondered why I bothered there was so little in it. This week Cyprus Star had far more in it.
We watched the football, Spurs beating Arsenal, Chelsea losing again and Man U winning.
Torin and the twins came on the webcam again and it has now got to the point when Torin opens his laptop, they point and say “Nanny”!
Later Robin and Christa came round for a meal. Robin liked the soup so much he licked the bowl clean! I made trifle for dessert and that was a bit hit and miss as the only custard powder I found was Arabic, so I made a guess on the quantities but it turned out fine. I shall have to bring some “Birds” back next time I am in the UK.
We had a really nice evening.

Wonderful weather again for November and so we worked outside in the garden. I went to get some shopping and on the way back saw David, who was painting his railings and trying to put his post box back on when his drill blew up, so I told him to jump in the car and borrow ours.
The people in the huge Russian house in front of us have just acquired a Doberman. So, far he has done a lot of howling, which Rosie barks at and then Jekka, Kenny and David’s dog, joins in!
In the evening Torin came on the webcam with the twins. They are so funny.

Another beautiful sunny day. Mal was cutting trees and uprooting bushes, clearing more of the front garden ready for more fruit trees to go in. Our oranges are nearly ready to eat…yummy.
Chris brought us some pork chops that he bought in the South and we had two of them for dinner, delicious!! Thanks Chris….much appreciated!

It was another quiet day as it is still Kurban Bayram. More jobs around the house and then in the evening we rang the boys but Skype was really not at all good and the boys kept saying “Pardon” all throught the conversations. However they are all fine.
We watched the England v France game ….England lost!
