Villa for sale in Malatya

We had strong winds over night but nothing too drastic. It did however have an effect on Mal’s mobile. I was on to the theatre to book tickets for Richard Digance and I just completely lost service, obviously because of the high winds. My mobile completely died over the weekend and a new one is being delivered today. I have to say we do have very poor phone reception here, that’s what comes of living out in the sticks.

I received an email from Joan and Malcolm in Alsancak asking me about the restaurant by Lemar. I believe they mean Magarina Bulli. So, some information for anyone interested, Magarina is closed all this week and re-opens on Monday 8th June. I guess Kezi and Kenan are having a well deserved holiday.

My new mobile arrived in the one hour slot they said, so I spent time sorting it all out.

Villa for sale in Malatya, North Cyprus

A day off for Mal, so after Ellie’s walk we went to Canterbury. Next to Istanbul, I think Canterbury is my favourite city.We had a wander by the river and around St Radigunds. We ended up at The Parrot, a very old pub, probably the oldest building in the city. It only seemed right to go in and have a drink and then we decided to stay for lunch and very good it was too. We were just so pleased we didn’t have a starter as the portions were enormous. They also take Taste card so our bill was half price. We have certainly had our value from Taste card already and it doesn’t run out until next April!

More tennis when we arrived back home!
