Fantastic news from Tulips (Help those with Cancer) concerning Sunday’s “Pasta for a Purpose”.
“A grand total of 10,400TL was raised for Tulips yesterday.
The target was a minimum of 500 meals but ideally Veni Vici wanted to hit 1,000 so with what was cooked and served yesterday plus some generous donations we received today we can say that the equivalent of 1,040 meals were sold!”

We went into Korinia Estates because we have decided on them to sell our property. Their website comes in the top 3 in TRNC and also we bought our land from them all those years ago. Today we took copies of our deeds in for them. We hadn’t realised there was a lady in there that was working with Guy all those years ago when we bought the land and she remembered us. We certainly remembered her. We were at the stage during one August of trying to get the paperwork complete whilst buying the land. We ended up camping out in Korinia’s office because nothing was moving and I believe we were only here for 4 weeks. We kept asking and asking why it was taking so long. In the end this lovely lady walked the paperwork from one office to another. It was as simple as that but I am afraid in those days things moved very slowly. We were and still are so very grateful to her. We don’t forget people’s kindness. Guy’s son, Gürkan and his wife are now running it. Thinking back I realise we had the difficult times, everything has become so much easier now and even getting water from Turkey! How things have progressed.
We went shopping and then my favourite occupation…………laying in the pool with this fantastic view.
