I had an email from my American friend obviously concerned about Syria. I then had to explain to her the UK system of MP’s as she couldn’t understand how David Cameron wasn’t voted in by majority. I then went on to explain that 39 members of the coalition voted against action in Syria.

In the evening we spoke to the boys thinking they were all starting school the following day. Tariq and Sol start tomorrow. They have all their school uniforms ready and have to wear blazers, a real thumbs down from both of them. They also have to wear a tie relevant to the house they are in. They are both in “Mercury” which has a purple tie (not impressed!!)

River starts on Wednesday and Ollie, Oscar and Josie start on Thursday.

Today is the first day of the hunting season. Strangely no gun shot around us!

Early afternoon Ken came round with his next book and the beginnings of the one after that. Busy man! The drawings are so very good.

I was pleased to see that the Daniel contingent were represented at Debbie’s (Mal’s sister) Tag Pet Rescue Open  Day today. They said it was really busy, so hopefully they have raised a lot of money. Karen is staying at the caravan with the twins and so the littlies met up with their cousins again.
