We went for a nice long walk with Ellie, even jogged a bit along the paths by the river (keeping up the cardio vascular exercise!), actually it’s because Ellie sniffs and if we jog she runs with us and keeps up!
We also met Ronald with his one eyed dog, who now has his Elizabethan collar off and he looks a little brighter.
So very sad to hear that Chas Hodges died this morning (Chas and Dave). I know they cancelled a few concerts recently but he seemed to have recovered from his cancer. In fact we went to see them in December in Margate. I think they were the only people who lifted the roof at Margate Winter gardens with their rendition of “Dahn to Margit”.
RIP Chas.
Tris and Violet wanted to go to Howletts in the afternoon. They didn’t arrive from London until 3, so we met them at the zoo. It rained all the time we were there but surprisingly a lot of the animals were outside.
Arina was just chillin’ on some tyres (in the rain). I have to say, I love this picture of her, sums her up quite nicely.
We also managed to see the baby elephant, thank goodness as we had told Violet all about him.
They came back to our house later to dry out! Violet and I watched Strictly together. She told me how she met Claudia Winkleman and that one of the contestants was her mums best friend. All true, long story!
