Paula’s birthday and so Lou and Rhys joined us for lunch at ours. They picked the girls up on the way.
We were hoping to eat outside but there were black clouds. Indoors to eat and then outside later, when the sun was quite hot!
We reminisced about Paula’s 50th birthday. We invited her to come to Cyprus with us for her 50th and we did have fun! I went back on this diary to 2003 and read it back to her. There were odd things in there we had forgotten. Nice to have such funny memories. A lot of people complain that I am always taking photos but they now realise how valuable some of them are.
I am sure they both enjoyed themselves, a few bottles of wine later! I drove them back to the caravan early evening. They were both quite wobbly. Of course I was driving so hadn’t been drinking.
What a shame for Man United and I imagine DeGea is feeling dreadful.
