Just a short walk around the cricket ground with Ellie as it was one of her not so good days. Yesterday she was up barking and wagging her tail when we fetched her lead. Not today. Good days and not so good days, bless her.

We spent the afternoon in the garden it was so warm. I picked loads more tomatoes.

It is so nice to still be having our meals out in the garden at the end of September. The only problem now is mosquitos!

A beautiful sunrise.

I had an appointment at midday at Periodontal. I thanked him for referring me to the docs as I was always getting mouth ulcers. I have had a few blood tests, so far not absorbing B12 and the iron count far too high and they are still waiting for other test results.

So, today he did a deep clean of half my mouth, at least he gave me plenty of anaesthetic but that hurt quite a bit putting the needle in my cheeks. Yuk. I was an hour in the chair.

When he finished I had a wander around Faversham shops and called into Cancer Research as the manager there trained in our shop, a lovely lady.

We went to the cricket pitch to walk Ellie and met a lady who spends 6 months of the year in Thailand. She wouldn’t stop chatting to us and then her little dog growled at Ellie who was just sitting there very innocently. Then she left!

So many mosquitoes down there even though I had covered myself with Skin So Soft. They certainly like me, they always did in Cyprus.

My exercise class in the afternoon which was hard going as it was so humid and we don’t stop for an hour!

We watched the latest episode  of Slow Horses, not the best one I have seen for obvious reasons. It can be very gruesome at times.

Then on to order more of Ellie’s dog food from the vets. Also Mal returned a Toastie sandwich maker for use in the microwave. We thought it would be handy to take away with us as most lodges have microwaves. We tried it twice and no, it was no good.

So many more ripened tomatoes, so prawn and tomato linguine for dinner.

It is amazing how many new recipes I have found using tomatoes!!

A work day and surprisingly quiet compared to the previous Monday. Of course there is always plenty to do even if we didn’t have that many customers.

We walked the field in Eastry . So lovely in the afternoon we were out in the garden, of course in between Mal was at the allotment.

We have bought a new toasted sandwich maker, this is a different one…it goes in the microwave!
