We took Ellie to Stone Bay. We could see the rain in the distance but thankfully dodged it. There are a lot of steps down to the bay, so good exercise. It looks as though winter is coming as they were removing all the beach huts.
Mal ordered new shelves for the shed and so installed those in the afternoon and tried to restore some sort of order in there. He even found a dead field mouse. We have seen one looking out from behind the shed!
An explanation of why Mal and I have ended up in Sandwich can be seen on tonight’s “River Walks – The Stour” on BBC2 (can be seen on iPlayer). It really is such a lovely area. Not just the river walks but we have the sea as well.
