What a difference to the previous day. It was so warm and sunny for the BBQ that we had to look for the shade. Today it is pouring with rain.
Rhys brought round three enormous beetroots again the previous day and so I cooked more Borscht.
Mal and I happened to have a conversation about the howling gibbons at Howletts. Many years ago I took little Torin (grandson) and he was terrified at their noise. It really is loud. We have been to Howletts so many times but neither of us could remember their name. A good thing I take masses of photos as I had taken this one!. It is the Siamang Gibbon.
When I listened to the weather forecast in the evening they said the temperature in Kent had dropped by 10 degrees from yesterday! I am not surprised with the amount of rain we had today but at least I don’t have to water my pots!
