Very sad to hear this morning that Dave Swarbrick has passed away especially after watching Fairport last night. He was their original fiddle player and Mal and I saw him with Martin Carthy about 6 months ago. A great loss to folk music. Rest in peace Swarb,

Another part of my younger years gone.
Lou, Rhys and the littlies came round in the morning.
Mal stopped working for a while and then got back to it as the bulk of it is almost complete. He is also waiting for the weather to improve so that he can go to the allotment. I have a lot to do in the garden too but it has been too wet and windy. The clematis behind Lou (in the picture) was so pretty, covered in flowers but the wind has taken nearly all the flowers off.
