Another hot day made even hotter by Mal’s comments on Brexit! We had a postal vote and sent ours off before we left the UK. We did our bit! Good news for expat Brits selling sterling property? This comment has not affected the way we voted!!
To be honest it isn’t the heat that gets to us it is the humidity when the temperature lowers from 40 plus!
It’s quite amusing reading all the comments on Brexit, the majority seem so confused now. So what does happen to ex pats in Spain etc and there was an agreement to allow us as EU citizens to cross the border here and use Larnaca…will this stop? So many questions. Our priority at the moment is painting and it is just too hot, we have tried and the paint is just drying on the brushes.
We swim to cool off but the pool is now up to 32 degrees!
In the evening we went to Hanimeller, it just had to be a restaurant next to the sea, in the hope it would be a little cooler. It was very pleasant there……and another beautiful sunset.
Back home and in the pool again! After that we sat under the terrace and watched our house geckos playing in and out of our ornamental tiles and squeaking to each other. There were four of them out tonight.
