Phew, what a busy day! We were up at 4.00am and off to catch our flight to the UK. At least now we have seen the new departures hall. Just one huge duty free, not all the little shops any more. Our Pegasus flight was actually 15 minutes early arriving at Stansted. We then went to collect our Avis rental car. I am a “preferred customer”, as we use them often. They guarantee that they will have you dealt within 3 minutes or you can claim £20. They even have stop watches, so you can time them. We didn’t have to, the car was ready and off we went to Torin’s. So apart from the fact I get so bored with flying, everything went smoothly. Torin was working from home today and so we went round to the shops and by then Scarlet and Jack were home, so spent some very silly time with them…they don’t call Mal silly Grandad for nothing!
