I still ached and was coughing but even so, it was my first big outing! First stop the pharmacy to get some more ‘day nurse’ and then on to Lambousa. It seemed everyone we spoke to either had or still has ‘the bug’. It’s spreading like wildfire.
We then went on to buy more membrane for the gardens and on to the supermarket, Ileli. Potatoes at the moment have been pretty ropey, soft and 2.5tl for a kilo…UK prices! Ileli had some nice small potatoes and they were cheaper. They packed all our bags for us and took all the shopping out to the car. They really are such nice staff in there.
By the time we had done all this I was exhausted. Mal did more of the garden and then we watched the Man City game followed by Arsenal.
Much later in the evening Mal managed to get Sky box office on the internet and ran it through the TV for David Haye’s fight. A relief that David threw some punches in the last round to secure his title as WBA Heavyweight Champion of the world. Well done David.
