I had a wander around Paphos shops (overpriced!) and then the people carrier arrived to collect all the guests to take us to the town hall. We waited for the cars to arrive with Paul and best man Al followed a while after by the very beautiful bride and bridesmaid Sarah. Their dresses were really lovely.
We had the wedding ceremony and then went to the Harbour Taverna where the wedding reception was held.
The wine was flowing freely, especially the red. There were two glasses knocked over during the reception and I was really surprised that Mal wasn’t responsible for either. That is unusual for him. Pam took the brunt of the first glass with Mal’s shirt catching the splatters. The second was mostly over the tablecloth and flowers.
When the meal was over we all walked along the harbour back to Annabel Hotel for some more drinks and then back to another bar along the harbour, with Jackie still in her wedding dress. It was a really lovely day and evening. Thank you so much Jackie and Paul and may you have a very long happy married life together.
