A lovely walk over the fields. Really cold and muddy but the sun was out.

A work day, very quiet to begin with I am guessing because of the pouring rain and then it got busy. We have targets for our sales of the Superdraw lottery and I did so well but at the end of the day I asked the stand in Manager (Jack is on holiday) how many I had sold and she said she didn’t know how to find out!!! What a lot of wasted effort. I wonder how Jack manages and she doesn’t.
It was pouring with rain but looking at the forecast we risked it and drove over to Knees Wood in Shepherdswell . We even had flooded roads going over there. Walking around the wood we kept dry. It has to be one of Ellie’s favourite places.

They are obviously in the Christmas mood over there with the decorations all over the old fire engines.

What a shambles the Spurs v Arsenal game…least said. Needless to say I had a message from Jack! He supports Arsenal.
We watched West Ham in the afternoon they were 2-0 up and then they changed ends, the wind was against them and it was a draw much to Mal’s disappointment!!
Strictly in the evening and just hoping Lewis and Katya win.
Bad weather…more TV!!
A storm and pouring rain to wake up to, winter is here! I went into Ramsgate and really heavy hail stones. I bought some really nice Christmas crackers in Waitrose. They are all half price!
Horrified to keep listening about the beads polluting our seas. 50 miles. 300 million bio beads and do Southern Water even care? It is now as far as St Marys Bay…getting nearer. Absolutely disgusting, the damage they will be doing to wildlife.
A dry walk with Ellie (only just) and then the torrential rain started.
I met the girls, Kent Lavender Ladies and we went to Lemongrass Thai Street food. The ladies in there are so lovely and the food likewise.
We had a really good lunch and a good natter and put the world to rights…as if anyone could! My prawn Pad Thai was so tasty.
The weather was horrendous all the way home but at least we didn’t have snow as some did!
