The first day of June and we have the heating on! The weather people did promise 2 months of summer but I am not sure when that will arrive.
We walked Ellie in the drizzle and met a lot of other wet dog walkers. No matter what the weather we are all out walking!
Mal decided he ought to work an hour at the allotment. A shame the rain started again and got heavier and heavier! He was soaked when he arrived home. BUT we now have another 4 kilo of broad beans, organic of course.
We both love any kind of beans. We eat loads of vegetables, which is just as well with Slimming World. One of our favourite recipes is Diet Cola Chicken. It doesn’t sound that good but it really is. Click on it to get the recipe, very easy. Mal isn’t doing Slimming World but he loves all their meals.
I started watching the tennis in the afternoon. Sometimes I despair of Murray, 4-1 up and then loses the first set!! He did win in the end but he could make it easier.
My TV viewing is sorted for the next couple of weeks, Springwatch is on! It is from Minsmere. Mal and I went there when we visited Suffolk.
